story: Syd is working in New York as an assistant editor frame magazine. One day she met Lucy who lives upper floor of her apartment and was attracted in photographs displayed in Lucy's room. Syd told her to run them in the magazine. Actually Lucy is the legendary photographer who reputed the most 10 years ago but suddenly disappeared. Syd decided to handle Lucy's works and they got closer rapidly. A drama depicting arts, business and women in anguish over love and ambition
point: Lucy is lesbian and has German girlfriend. Syd has boyfriend. Spending time together, the two goes way beyond and the relationship as business partner grows into love. Syd with ambition of helping Lucy return loves her ability as photographer and Lucy loves Syd and try to meet her request by taking photographs of Syd. Their feelings go different way and that leads them to a sad end. Snobbish art business world is also depicted.

  The Well (Australia 1997)

story: A middle age woman Hester is living modestly with her father in a remote area of Australia. One day, a young woman Katherine came as a live-in housekeeper. Once the father died and Hester came into legacy, the two women started enjoying luxurious life. One night Katherine was drunk and run over a stranger, and Hester dumped the body in an old well. The film was based on a novel "The Well" written by Elizabeth Jolly.

point: -Hester had been suppressed in her life with the strict father, and she has homosexual feeling toward the free-spirited young woman Katherine. On the other hand, Katherine who was an orphan child yeans her mother in Hester. The two contrasting women battled but attached themselves each other. However the car accident triggers their madness. The psychological description in the latter half of the film is mysterious and attracts viewers. A unique bluish image emphasizes the weirdness of the closed world.
