"I walk
the stony road with my high-heeled shoes, standing up right
and searching for a light"
There are 5 stories of different 5 girls that delicately relate each other
and lead themselves to one story.
Each heroine is at a loss in her life with suffers and pains but tries to grasp
her own outlines, and with small incident, she decides to take
a new step.
"Find-er"
Mizuki, a photographer who is searching for what she really wants to snap.
"Sabita Shimon (Rusty Fingerprints)"
Kiyori, an office worker of a real-estate company who is secretly living
in a tenantless apartment hurting herself.
"Miminari no Kakera (Trace of Noise in the Ear)"
Megumi, a prospective actress who repeats dieting and instilation clinging to
the show business.
"Koubashii Shizuku (Spicy Dew)"
Saori, a dancer who wishes only for place to dance.
"Hikari no Shitazawari (Texuture of Light)"
Kaori and Minori, a lesbian couple who now thinking to live apart.
Today's young women have range of thoughts and feelings in their everyday lives.
Two creaters, the director and a photographer Miwa Tozaki, picture Kokoro (mind)
and Karada (body) of those women.
The theme is "Self-recognition". It's a loving and embracing film of
women who search for their own way, taken from the view of same sex.

Rosanna
Arquette, an actress in Le Grand Bleu (France 1998), made her
debut as a documentary film director in which she talks to
various actresses about the pressures they face as women working
in the entertainment industry.
Debra Winger who was known as the heroin in An officer and A Gentleman (USA 1982)
had left the entertainmen industry one day all of a sudden. Rozannna Argquette
has been wanting to ask her why she resigned. During the journey looking for
Debra Winger, Rozannna meets various actresses and they tell her their stories.
Rozannna finds out that each woman tries hard to live her own life, and is encouraged.
And at last, Rozannna reached to Debra Winger... |

film is based on a Pultzer-awarded best-selling
novel "The Hours" by Michael Cunningham.
In the motif of Virginia Woolf's "Mrs Dalloway",
misteries of life such as joy and sorrow, surprise
and emotion, happiness and unhappiness, are revealed
vividly.
Nicole Kidman who played virginia Woolf in the movie won the Academy
Award for Best Actress.
3 parties in 3 different periods of time:
A tea party that Virginia Woolf held with her sister on the London outskirts
in 1932,
A birthday party that Laura held for her husband in Los Angeles in 1951,
and
a celebration party that an editor Clarissa held for her dying HIV-possitive
friend who won an award.
3 womens' lives led by "Mrs Dalloway" to one story.
