US Internet provider targeted for homosexuals started operation |

PeoplePC Inc., the provider of Internet access, announced that it
would start business targeted homosexual community.
Together with PlanetOut Partners that runs major web sites for homosexual
people such as Gay.com and PlanetOut.com, PeoplePC Inc. starts all-american
scale Internet service, Pride.com Online.
Members get news about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transsexual
by e-mail everyday, and information of discount product from homosexual-related
manufacturer and publisher. It service offers 24-hour customer support
and response to questions by telephone and e-mail.
The service starts during the homosexual event "Gay Pride"
scheduled to be held at Washington DC, New York, San Fransisco,
Los Angeles, and Atlanta.

A surprising news of Internet servise which is unthinkable in Japan.
Some simple question occured, "how they determine the person
is homosexual?"
But it doesn't matter, does it? Even if users of this service are
not homosexual, it would be great if they read distributed e-mail
news and can overcome their prejudice and change their perception. |
