Sa Tree Lex (directed by Youngyooth Thongkonthun) is a movie based on a true story in 1996 that a volleyball team consisting of gays won the first place in Thai national championship. Sa Tree Lex/Attack: Number Half (Japanesse title) will arrive in Japan this spring.
A transsexual woman came in as a volleyball team coach. Gay men attached to her and gathered to win a trail of victories in national championship. A movie similar to Cool Running or Shiko Funjatta.
In Thai, gays are called by a trivial name that means "immorality." However put on a load show, this movie won the second highest grossing ever in Thai film history.
On Feb. 1, performers will visit Japan and have an interview.
