Lesbian and Gay Parade marched through Shibuya for social understandings |

| "Speak aloud and let's express ourselves to society together" On August 13, Tokyo Lesbian & Gay Parade was held and people marched through Shibuya town. As a special feature, Otsuji Kanako, the member of Osaka Assembly speeched at the opening ceremony. She has just come out that she was a lesbian and published her autobiography along with the parade."Today I want to march with all of you as a lesbian" Ms. Otsuji declared and people received her with big applause. According to the organizer, more than 3,500 people participated in the parade including who cheered on the sidelines. |
