Long-distance
call service offers nation-wide rate \20/3 min. The service
starts on Apr. 1.
The Fusion Communications Corporation announced a new long-distance
call service available from Apr. 1 that offers nation-wide
rate \20/3 min. regardless of time or the day of the week.
By using nationwide backbone based on its original IP, the
company offers drastically low cost service compared to others.
The backbone of the Fusion Communications Corporation was
connected to switching centers of NTT local offices, and NTT
phone line was used between users and switching centers, and
IP network of the Fusion Communications Corp. down the line.
Though this service uses VolP technique, it is not so-called
an Internet phone. Different from normal Internet phone, using
its original IP network, the Fusion Communications Corp. offers.
The Fusion Communications obtained an identification number
"0038" so that users can call from public telephones
by dialing the identification number beforehand.
It costs \20 par 3 minutes and requires no initiation or
monthly basic fee. In case of using the service to call person
in Sapporo from Tokyo for 30 minutes twice a week, it costs
\1,600/month. The cost is less than half of other discount
service.
